I've been lucky enough to have traveled extensively since leaving home in 1998 at 18. Some trips have been short, others longer & more involved. All have helped to shape who I am & I am incredibly grateful to all the characters I've met & been able to trust along the way. A few highlights have been living in a remote valley in Turkey; living in the Indigenous community of Boruca in Costa Rica working on a volunteer project; exploring the craziness that is India & trekking the Inca Trail in Peru.
Throughout my travels, I've rarely been without a camera (apart from a few weeks when it was stolen in Ireland). At first my fascination was with landscapes & architecture. I soon became captivated by faces & characters. It's the people that make a place, right?
I'm now so excited to be teaming up with Australian Kokoda Tours to run a photography based Kokoda Trek. You can check it out under the "workshops" tab in my navigation bar & contact me for more information.
