The Short & Sweet Festival is on again for 2012 which is a great chance to get out & see a bunch of emerging & established artists showcase short pieces in Cabaret, Theatre & Dance.
I love getting involved in stuff that supports the arts & this year I’ve sponsored the Short & Sweet Cabaret festival by donating a photography shoot for the winner of the people’s choice award. So get down & vote!
As part of my involvement in the festival this year, I’ll be on the panel of judges for the Cabaret section, which should be a total blast! I also put out a cracking deal for any participating in the festival to do a shoot for me at a total bargain of a price. I set up a studio for a day (thanks to the awesome folks at Chapel off Chapel) and talked to the artists about their shows & we came up with ideas for shoots.
Below is what we came up with for Alexia Brinsley’s show 16 Years Old – a short Cabaret piece about being home schooled & what happens when you then transition to mainstream school.
